Overview

Da Vinci Health ("the App") takes your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use the App. In short: your data lives only on your device and in your own iCloud account. The developer has no server and cannot read any of your data.

Data Storage & iCloud Sync

All data in the App (including food logs, water intake, exercise records, sleep records, profile information and photo, and custom foods and exercises) is stored locally on your device and synced through Apple's CloudKit service to your own private iCloud account, so it stays in sync across your devices and can be restored after you reinstall the App.

The developer operates no servers and cannot access or read the data in your iCloud. Data travels only between your device and Apple iCloud and is protected by Apple's iCloud security and privacy policies. We do not collect, transmit, or share any of your personal data.

• To turn iCloud sync off: iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → "Apps Using iCloud" (or "Saved to iCloud") → turn off Da Vinci Health. Your data then stays on the device only. (The exact path may differ by iOS version.)
• To delete the iCloud copy: deleting the App does not delete the copy in iCloud. To remove it, go to iOS Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Da Vinci Health → Delete Data. (The exact path may differ by iOS version.)

Apple Health (HealthKit)

With your explicit permission, the App integrates with Apple Health (HealthKit) to:

• Read: step count, active energy, and sleep analysis.
• Write: water intake, dietary energy, protein, fat, carbohydrates, and sleep records.

Data read from Apple Health (steps, active energy, sleep) is read on demand when it is shown and used only to display and compute inside the App (for example the dashboard, the Sleep screen and the daily Health Score). It is not stored in the App's database and not synced to iCloud. If you tap Export, the sleep shown from Apple Health is included in the CSV file you choose to share (see Data Export). Entries you type into the App yourself (including manually added sleep) are stored and synced as described in the section above. The App writes the water, food and sleep you log in the App to Apple Health. None of this data is ever used for advertising or marketing or shared with or sold to any third party. You can change this permission at any time in iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices.

Data Export

The App creates CSV or TXT files only when you tap Export. Those files leave your device only through the iOS share sheet, to a destination you choose (for example Files, Mail, or another app). Your data does not leave your device in any other way.

Data We Do Not Collect

• No account or login is required; the App has no user accounts
• No usage analytics, no tracking, no advertising identifiers
• No location data
• No third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs; the App contains no advertisements
• Personal identification information (such as your name) is stored only on your device and in your own iCloud

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from them. Because the developer cannot access any user data, removal is done by deleting the App and its iCloud copy as described above.

Changes to This Policy

If we make any changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date.
